God inhabits the praises of his people. Those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth!   By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.  Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

A lot of times the music that we hear in church or on our favorite Christian radio station is defined as worship. As you can see, the word music is not even in the definition of worship.

So, how do you define worship?

For me, worship is not just a few of our favorite songs that we sing in church, but rather a lifestyle. The word says, Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Col.3:23 niv

Therefore to me, worship is waking up with Jesus on your mind, its eating breakfast, going to work, and etc. with Jesus on my mind. Pray without Ceasing (1Thess. 5:17)

Worship is praying, reading His word, seeking His face. Showing love to others, forgiveness, mercy, and here’s a tough one…Obedience. If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15

Simply loving God is worship. It’s easy to say, “God, I love you.”

But, when we show God that we love Him, that is true worship.

If being a Christian ever became a federal crime, and you were charged with it and had to go to court.

Would the prosecutor have enough evidence to convict you?

So how do I define worship? I define it as not music, not singing or playing an instrument for the Lord,

but I define Worship as a lifestyle.
